If your business has experienced recent operational disruptions, the following relief programs may be able to help. These resources are available to small businesses across Minnesota, with some programs focused on specific communities or regions.
The Salt Cure Fund
The Salt Cure Fund is prioritizing small, independent restaurants in the seven-county metro area in its first funding round. Restaurants that have experienced disruption are encouraged to review the options available.
Minneapolis Foundation
The Minneapolis Foundation is supporting businesses statewide. Grant funds may be used for a wide range of business-related expenses, including:
- Payroll or contractor payments
- Rent or mortgage for business space
- Utilities
- Inventory replacement
- Security, repairs, or safety-related costs
- Covering short-term revenue loss
- Insurance deductibles
- Legal or translation help
- Temporary relocation
Latino Economic Development Center
This program supports Latino-owned businesses. The current grant opportunity serves Eastside St. Paul businesses. However, additional resources are being developed for Latino-owned businesses statewide. All eligible businesses are encouraged to apply.
Southeast Asian & Immigrant/Refugee Small Business Grant
This grant supports Southeast Asian and immigrant/refugee business owners located within the Twin Cities.

Main Street Alliance
A new grant application is anticipated to launch in March 2026. More details will be shared as they become available.
Lake Street Council Impact Survey
The Lake Street Council and its partners have launched an impact survey to better understand how businesses and nonprofits have been affected. The information collected will help guide solutions and future support efforts.
Business owners and nonprofit leaders are encouraged to complete the survey and share how finances and operations have been impacted.
