City Meet & Greet
The Savage Business Outreach Program connects City staff to businesses to share best practices and grow together. The program is run through the City's Community Development Department. A traffic signal or street light is out. Who do I call?

If a traffic signal is out, contact Scott County Dispatch at 952-445-1411. If a street light is out, contact Savage Public Works at 952-224-3400.
Am I able to bring in my own wine, beer, or liquor?

Yes, you may bring in alcoholic beverages, including kegs of beer, but you cannot sell it unless you have a valid temporary on-sale license for beer and/or wine. You can apply for this type of license from the City of Savage. No glass is allowed on the outdoor patio.
Are cable TV rates regulated?

Under federal law, the City and the Federal Communications Commission (FCC) are prevented from regulating cable rates. It would take federal legislation to change that situation. The FCC believes that as competition and choices expand, consumers will have access to more services and that prices will eventually be controlled by competition.

In the meantime, the FCC says that consumers should expect an explanation from cable companies whenever rates are raised, particularly when the company attributes price hikes to increases in the cost of obtaining programming.
