On Monday September 18, 2023, at approximately 1641 hours, the Savage Police Department received a report that a student referenced bringing a weapon to PLHS. Savage Police and the school’s Threat Assessment Team followed up on the report immediately. The Savage Police Department conducted an investigation and determined the threat was not credible.

The safety of students and staff is our top priority. Out of an abundance of caution, Savage Police will continue to be visible throughout the day at all our schools throughout the City of Savage.
