The City of Savage will receive $3.53 million in one-time direct federal aid from the Federal American Rescue Plan Act (ARPA). The funding is meant to provide relief from the COVID-19 pandemic to cities across the nation to boost the economy. Through community engagement in late 2021, a spending plan was developed and approved in early 2022. Projects are beginning to be implemented throughout 2022 and 2023.
