 Assault

 On Sunday April 21 at approximately 1348 hours, the Savage Police Department responded to the 4100 block of 126th St. regarding an assault that had taken place.

 Upon officers’ arrival they met with a male victim who was outside of the residence and had superficial cuts on his hands. The victim stated that the female had assaulted him with a knife and was inside the home.  

Numerous attempts to contact the suspect met with negative results. At 1540 hours a negotiator arrived on the scene and established contact with the suspect. At approximately 1608 hours, the suspect exited her bedroom and was taken into custody.  

We are very appreciative of the assistance we received from Shakopee, Prior Lake and Eden Prairie Police Departments, the Scott County Sheriff’s Office and the Minnesota State Patrol.
