Savage Recycling Day

The annual Savage Recycling Day will be Saturday, May 2, from 8 a.m. – noon at Savage Public Works, 13770 Dakota Ave. This is a drop-off event where Savage and Credit River residents can dispose of appliances, electronics, furniture, yard waste, and other unwanted items for a reasonable fee.  2025 Recycling Day Map

  • Bring a valid driver’s license or another form of I.D. to prove Savage or Credit River residency 
  • No vehicles larger than a pickup truck 
  • No trailers larger than 8 X 12 feet 
  • Cash or check only (credit cards not accepted)

Please note: Bridging Inc. will not collect donations at Savage Recycling Day. Paper Shredding is not part of Savage Recycling Day. The annual Shredding Event is schedule for August 22, 2026.

$30 per car load of garbage

Accepted Items

Yard Waste - $5 - $10 Appliances - $10 each Other - $10 each Electronic - $5 each (* small items bundled)
Consists of grass and leaf clippings that do not contain branches.

Branches can not be larger than 3 inches in diameter and 5 feet in length.

Many products in your home or garage can be hazardous to your family and the environment. In fact, Household Hazardous Waste can be any item from your home that is flammable, corrosive, toxic, poisonous, or reactive. View a complete list of hazardous waste items that will be accepted at the Scott County Household Hazardous Waste Facility.

Residential Drop Off Schedule:

  • Wednesday: Noon - 6 p.m.
  • Thursday: Noon - 4 p.m.
  • Saturday: 8 a.m. - Noon
