NOTICE IS HEREBY GIVEN that the Savage Planning Commission will conduct a public hearing in the Council Chambers at Savage City Hall, 6000 McColl Drive, Savage, Minnesota at 7:00 p.m., or as soon thereafter, on Thursday, August 6, 2026 to receive public comment on proposed Comprehensive Plan amendments related the text and maps changes within Chapter 2, Land Use.

The proposed map amendments affect approximately 34 acres in the downtown area generally located south of 123rd Street between Quentin Avenue and Lynn Avenue. The amendments would change the current Institutional, Medium Density Residential, Commercial, and Mixed Use land use designations to a new Mixed Use Core land use designation in alignment with the City’s adopted Downtown Savage Redevelopment Vision Plan.
