Right-of-Way Vacation

NOTICE IS HEREBY GIVEN that the Savage City Council will conduct a public hearing in the Council Chambers at Savage City Hall, 6000 McColl Drive, Savage, Minnesota at 7:00 p.m., or as soon thereafter, on Monday, June 1, 2026, to receive public comment on a request for a right-of-way vacation for a portion of Aquila Avenue, which is a stubbed street within the West Summit Oaks plat, located south of 154th Street West, between 8603 154th Street West and 15387 Aquila Avenue. This stubbed street segment is no longer intended to provide a future street connection. The existing right-of-way to be vacated is legally described as:

That part of Aquila Avenue lying southerly of 154th Street West, and that other part of Aquila Avenue running on an east-west course, according to the recorded plat of WEST SUMMIT OAKS on file and of record at the Recorder's Office, Scott County, Minnesota, but specifically excluding any part of Aquila Avenue lying in the curve of said 154th Street West, and Aquila Avenue running on said east-west course.
